Subject: [Bes-admins] Any experience with CDO 8244 on BES 5.0.3?

We have a need to load a CDO package on our Exchange 2007 servers as we will be
installing Mail Security for Exchange, but due to a different requirement, it
needs to be newer than the version I currently have installed on my BES.

I had planned to use the version that RIM has marked as recommended, but
Microsoft has replaced that with a new version. I can’t find the older version
on their website, and I’m wary about downloading it from some unknown site off
the Internet.

Does anyone know if there are problems with using the currently available CDO
with BES 5.0.3? We’re not currently on MR4, but likely to go to it soon.
Barring that, is there a known safe place to download the previous version?
