I've never run across a way to specify nor seen the rules that determine the
placement - we've seen the Enterprise IM client show up in the Instant
Messaging folder, Applications, Downloads - even (rarely) the home screen,
possibly depending on the presence or absence of the previously mentioned
folders, OS version and I don't know what all.

If you find a way, I'd like to see how to do it.

Subject: [Bes-admins] Pushing Applications from BES

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know if there is a way to push an application to a certain location
on a BB? I recently pushed the BB Enterprise messaging client and the IM blue
bubble showed up in the applications folder. Is there a way to have it show up
on the main screen so users don’t have to hunt for it?

thanks
