Section 4.1 bullet D is now completed as follows in version 12: “A similar procedure can be used for DF Algorithm Lowest-Preference too, that is, suppose the algorithm for vES2 is Lowest-Preference, and PE1 (the DF) goes on maintenance mode. The operator could change vES2's Preference on PE1 from 100 to e.g., 250, so that PE2 is forced to take over as Designated Forwarder for vES2.” Hopefully that addresses your comment. Thanks!
