Today begins a two week adoption call for
https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-zhao-pim-evpn-multicast-yang/ in the pim
wg. This document describes a yang data model for evpn multicast services hence
adding bess to the call for adoption. Our poll in Prague was 8 in favor and 1
against.

Hello bess,
We will have draft-zhao-pim-evpn-multicast-yang presented in pim tomorrow.
Hongji has presented this draft a few times in pim because he hasn’t been able
to get time in bess and we have progressed several of his other yang drafts in
pim. It was suggested that we consider adopting in pim since bess is extremely
busy. So just a heads up that we will take an adoption poll tomorrow per his
request. We have discussed with bess chairs. Please review the draft.
