Stephane, A few fun facts.
- In the time between 8-13 October, I drove 2300km circumnavigating Lake Michigan
+ This is roughly the distance driving from Seville, Spain to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
- Unlike a similar trip through the EU, large portions of Northern Michigan and Wisconsin are rural enough that a single bar of mobile signal was all that I would erratically get.
+ And when we were at various destinations enjoying my birthday weekend, I wasn't paying attention to IETF work.
- While I do have response latency from having to catch up on my inbox (the first instance in this thread overlapping a different bit of time off), I do respond to my inbox in priority order and have seen all of the messages.
+ Pings to look at things sooner are often treated similarly to pressing a button in an elevator repeatedly. :-)
As a note to members of our respective working groups, we're most productive when replies to a thread have a short iteration time. High response latency and intervening work means we get otherwise moved to swap.
I'm done with personal travel for the remainder of the year and am looking forward to the upcoming IETF 124's discussions.
