Thanks Rik I checked the format info and it needs text file.
* The data format ought to be:
Symbol,Date,Open,High,Low,Close,Volume
^DJI,20021108,8585.75,8668.91,8503.36,8529.71,0
^IXIC,20021108,1376.37,1389.77,1354.28,1358.37,0
 
 
 Can the BSE-NSE data could be converted to this format

EOD data BSE-NSE 2005 is not in the required format for B-C. Could it converted to required format by any programme?
 
If not I feel using Historical data from NSE is a better option than converting EOD.How many files we need to convert in Excel.  I am sure Rik can give a better solution.

As you are aware, Yahoo has discontinued NSE on realtime basis and even EOD
data is given very late.  I use AB only, but wanted to know if Best Charts
can support import of ASCII (.csv) files for Data. Reason being that I
co-moderate a group wherein we provide Free of Charge EOD Data for BSE &
NSE and if this source can be used, many of the problems with regard to
data especially from users in India can be solved.
