Bill, 'C:\Users\Tom Arneson\j801a_win64\j64-801\addons\docs\help' does exist.
I renamed it to 'C:\Users\Tom Arneson\j801a_win64\j64-801\addons\docs\test-help' In Term: Menu->Help->Vocabulary now opens: http://www.jsoftware.com/help/dictionary/vocabul.htm (the web vesion of help) that is the first time that's happened for me. F1 key does the same. All the other items on the help bar are working (using the Jsoftware website), including context help I just renamed the help folder back to 'C:\Users\Tom Arneson\j801a_win64\j64-801\addons\docs\help'; exited from J; restarted J801; I'm back to the help menu not working. Again using: browse_j_=: smoutput ; and placing the cursor over 'each' ; J returns: 'http://www.jsoftware.com/wsvn/base8/trunk/./main/main/stdlib.ijs' For now I'll leave the help folder named 'test-help', so I can access it easily. We can further narrow down 2 cases local and remote help files. Find out whether there is the folder addons/docs/help under your j801 install. If there is one, rename that folder; otherwise use pacman to install the docs/help addons. try if there will be any difference.
