Hi Bill, being a silent admirer of your work here is for very a small bug. 'qt demo' has the demo 'msgs'. Check 'smoutput immediately', press 'start' and closing the window before the defined end makes j crash. (Windows 7 Enterprise, SP1.) Cheers---Christoph
