[Jbeta] lockup when name undefined

I started a script, which failed because a name (qprintf) was not 
defined.  Because the program was running from a paint callback, it put 
up a dialog indicating value error.  Clicking this value error had no 
effect - I think the dialog keeps coming back.  Perhaps the paint entry 
point is being recalled repeatedly.

This is as detailed as I can get for now.
