Having Qt in both /Library/Frameworks and in ~install will lead to conflicts. If the only reason Qt is on the system is to support jqt, the Framework libraries should be deleted before updating Qt in ~install. If Qt is needed for another program, update the framework libraries to 4.8.5 from the Qt website. The reason that conditional is there is that jqt will use the /Library frameworks if ~install/Qt is not present.
