In trying to get gnuplot.ijs and gpdemo.ijs to work with JHS in j802, with help
here recently I was able to discover that the hard-coded locations of both the
gnuplot binary and a directory of gnuplot js files had to be changed within
~addons/ide/jhs/gnuplot.ijs.

That seems a bad place to change such globals, as the file affected is part of
a particular release of J and will probably be forgotten once once updates to a
newer version.

Wouldn't it be preferable to define such globals within ~user? say
~user/config? Then the definitions would persist across versions and would be
more readily accessible for change should the need arise.
