the messages were
cc : unrecognized child style: pL

I say were because after creating some forms successfully, the errors disapear,
and this code now does work in j804.

Sorry for duplicate name, but the code failed one line at a time.

I haven't noticed an effect for center on checkboxes in j803. Just that wd
doesn't complain about it.

wd 'reset'
wd 'pc a closeok escclose'
wd 'cc pL static center'
wd 'cc p2 static right panel'
wd 'cc t edit '
wd 'pshow'

what were the messages? What did you mean by 'failed'?

why did you create 2 child controls with yhe same id?

Does center have any effect on checkbox in j803?
