These examples work for me, tested on Win 8.1 64 and Linux 64, both Qt 1.4.5.

It looks like there is a missing "root" in the last expression, which should start: (disp&0"1 incr^:3 root) On 24 August 2015 at 11:54, Raul Miller <[email protected]> wrote: > I got frequent crashes from jqt (j64-804) while working through the > examples at http://rosettacode.org/wiki/List_rooted_trees#J > > I could not reliably repeat the crashes, but the expression which > crashed the most on me was > > boxed&0"1 incr^:3 root > > I could not get this to crash at all on the jconsole I built from > source on openbsd (that has enough modifications in it, to get it to > compile at all, that it's not very representative - but this hints > that the underlying problem may have to do with command line flags > used during compilation and/or the possibly version of the compiler - > some compiler versions are not suitable for systems use). > > FYI, > > -- > Raul > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
