I added the following lines to my jhome/system/config/base.cfg

FHS_jregex_=:1
load'regex'


This is after line 75, which reads

case. 'Linux' do.


This makes J804 console behave similarly on ARM Linux and OSX.  I suppose I
should note that I always install from the tgz or zip archive, and have
never tried the .deb method.
