0!:n displays each line before it is executed (which is important if
you're debugging JE crashes during development). I agree that a
different n value that displays AFTER error might be useful... but
wouldn't Eric's suggestion - to use the debugger - be best of all?

Henry,
Good catch!
Yes, I decided to add to my personal profile an "inverse" verb from my ancient
(j504) production system - and failed to remove the .
Your question prompted me to look at the last line of my profilex.ijs -
0!:0 :: ] <BINPATH,'/quedprof.ijs'
and execute manually -
0!:101 :: ] <BINPATH,'/quedprof.ijs'
This showed the problem instantly.
Made me wish for a way to display and stop on error in 0!: without displaying
everything (anything) when successful. Is there a trick to do that?
I'm glad that y. et al are gone - and am reminded of the folly of changing two things at
the same time (my broken profile and 507-e). My "enhanced" profile would have
failed equally in 806, since I decided long ago to avoid 9!:48/49.
Thanks!!

Names x. y. u. v. m. n. are now unsupported - do you have any of them?

Installed in Linux and have yet to puzzle out why loading my own profile fails
(I'll keep working on it).
profilex.ijs is identical between 807e and 807d - works in e but not in d.
Anyone else experienced this (or have a hint why it happens)?

The 807 beta-e zip install packages for windows/linux/macos are available.
Henry has done a lot more work to exploit virtual blocks and to make better
use of cache memory.

This beta is stable and, except for production work, we urge you to move to
it now.
Help make the final release solid!
