I was able to duplicate this Android pacman error on a Motorola phone and an
Android Emulator. They were both running Android 7.0.
I was able to fix it with this change:
com.jsoftware.j.android/files/system/util/pacman.ijs
...
httpget=: 3 : 0
...
'rc sent'=. ('GET ',f,' HTTP/1.0',LF2) sdsend_jsocket_ sk;0
goes to
'rc sent'=. ('GET ',f,' HTTP/1.0',CRLF,CRLF) sdsend_jsocket_ sk;0
