Even if you are using a window system which does not support creating icons for jbreak, you could have terminal windows open with the jbreak command line sitting there waiting for you to press enter.
That said, there's some plausible j implementation changes suggested here: It would be Really Nice if JQt had a dedicated ui element (and a dedicated thread) sitting there, waiting to handle jbreak. (This could also be done in jhs with a separate server on a separate port, and a dedicated link or button in the client side interface. (Though, also, in JQt at least, it could also be possible to implement the jbreak code internally - the important thing is that the UI not have to wait for the main thread before it takes this action.)
