I ran a program which used 8!:2 formatting and it failed under the new beta-f. I've used the program for years and It ran fine under previous versions.
The failure was caused by a space at the end of the formatting string. and removing the space solved the problem. The space was after the 10.5 in the fragment below: (,'p<N>m<S>9.5,p<E>m<W>10.5 ' 8!:2 [ll),CRLF |domain error | (,'p<N>m<S>9.5,p<E>m<W>10.5 ' 8!:2[ll),CRLF (,'p<N>m<S>9.5,p<E>m<W>10.5' 8!:2 [ll),CRLF N45.10000 W93.20000 I don't consider this a bug, but it may cause others to need fix their code too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
