Your bug report is more likely related to a JHS than JE.

I am aware of occasional JHS crashes that sound similar to yours, but have
not been able to track them down so far.

Any additional info would help.

If this is a serious problem for you, consider switching to Jqt which you
might find to be a more robust front end for your work.
