The problem here is the verb rank of the fork, see
https://code.jsoftware.com/wiki/Vocabulary/slash#dyadic, section More
information, point 2.

The verb rank of a fork is infinity:
   (+-*) b. 0
_ _ _
so this does not work as expected,

   1 2 (+*-)/ 3 4
_8 _12

but restricting the fork to work at rank 0 does:

   1 2 (+*-)"0/ 3 4
_8 _15
_5 _12
