There seems to be an error in the implementation.  My intention was that setting message-count to _1 would raise an error.  It does make the verb stop, but when I turn on debug the error doesn't show up.  I'll look into it presently.

Is there a way to make the code stop on the offending line?

Thanks. I tried the command you sent and got nothing. I am not interested
in shutting down the message. This is a really good idea to improve code.
The problem is that when the warning comes in code I have not written it
could be very difficult to find the offending code.

IIRC if you execute

9!:55 ] _1;''

the warning will become an error which will reveal the erroneous line.

If you want to shut off display of individual messages, use

9!:55 ] 1e6 ; list_of_excluded_messages

I got this message while playing solitaire. What should I do to find the
