Conceptually, there should be a break signal for every thread, and jbreak should set a signal for every thread. If need be, when spawning threads, the OS should be informed (by writing to a file) either how many threads there will be, or their identities. But I am not sure that anything outside of J should need to know this -- having "the first thread that sees the global signal" set "signals" for the other threads seems plausible.
