I had a closer look at the grid demo in the i beta.
Colors and Fonts example
Looking at the code, I would expect 10 rows. But the initial grid shows only 9
rows and no vscroll bar!!!
Extending the window vertically makes the missing row appear. Decreasing it
makes the row disappear, decreasing it more shows the scroll bar.
Countries and Virtual Countries example
Mouse functionality is under par and below the kb norm.
If I hit PageDown and keep it depressed, the PageDown action is repeated
("typematic" action) . With a left mouse click in the scroll shaft, only one
action is taken; repetition should be there too, as in Excel; users
expect it.
Scroll wheel functionality is absent.
I find the scroll bars a bit thin, certainly thinner than in Excel, although I
neither ask nor wish the Excel look and feel.
Controls example
If I deploy a drop-down listbox, I expect that a click anywhere outside the
grid will cancel and roll up the list.
Currently it is the case only when the click is to the right or below the grid
and only in the grid window.
