There appears to be a problem rendering plot type marker as pdf
under the latest version of plot and j6.01betai for windows.

Although plotting to screen works fine, when plotting to pdf, the key and
sometimes some markers are omitted depending on how many points were
plotted. When displaying with Adobe Reader 7.0
the following message appears - 'There are too many argument'.

NB. J script with this problem
pd 'reset'
pd 'type line,marker'
pd 'key line quad cube'
pd |:(^&1 2 3)"0 i.10
pd 'show' NB. or pd 'show pdf'
pd 'pdf test.pdf'

Rendering pd 'type line' in pdf works fine.

This problem also occurred with eps, but not tga.
So my current workaround is to do
   pd 'save tga test.tga'
and convert the tga file to eps using 'gimp'.

Keys can be given as markers, or combination of markers+lines.

For example:

require 'plot'
dat=. 2 3 5 7 11 15,2 4 7 13 14 16,:1.5 ^~ i.6
pd 'reset'
pd 'title Top Line',LF,'Second Line'
pd 'key one two three'
pd 'keystyle combo'
pd 'keypos rmo'
pd 'keycolor blue, red, green'
pd 'keymarkers line,diamond,square'
pd 'color blue,red,green'
pd 'type line'
pd dat
pd 'color red,green'
pd 'type marker'
pd 'markers diamond,square'
pd }. dat
pd 'show'
