I loaded the script system\packages\math\integrat.ijs,
and couldn't at first see why the conjunctions "integrate"
and "adapt" didn't work although "simpson" did.
It seems that the two problem conjunctions failed to work -
invocation resulted in display of my function name alongside
a listing of the conjunction - because they included effectively
reserved variables "v" and "n" (in "integrate") and "u" (in
"adapt"). Changing these to "vv" "nn" and "up" allowed
them to work. Evidently the script had been altered from
that for J501, since all x. and y. have been replaced by
x and y .
I know there has been much discussion on moving from
u. v. m. etc to u v m etc and this might already have been
covered, but my experience suggests that more work
needs to be done on library scripts to resolve trouble
arising from dropping the dots.
