I tried j601 java front on both Linux (ubuntu) and window. Here are
irregularities I encountered. I may be wrong because I did not test it in detail.
window: open ijs, it blinks once.
Linux: simple unicode demo can display Chinese, but not swedish (or islandic?)
unicode demo cannot display Chinese. how to set font?
form top title bar (blue)
Linux: all empty
window: ijx OK, ijs missing line position numbers
file selection dialog box
Linux: double click on folder or file become change name action.
Window: click OK
Linux & window:
the grey vertical bar of the left is missing. I forget what is the use of this
bar.
Linux & window: metal look-and-feel
in drop down menu bar, after a menu item is clicked, it leaved
a small square, and text do not align vertically because of these squares.
PS.
I'm inexperience in Linux, it is really difficult to install java package
(require typing in terminal window). After all, it was done. I wonder why it
cannot be made easier.
