In a form definition, anything up to the 'rem form end;' line is read and rewritten by the form editor. You can make manual changes to this part, but they should conform to what the form editor can produce. However, anything after 'rem form end;' is preserved. For example: TEST=: 0 : 0 pc test; xywh 10 10 50 10;cc cb checkbox;cn "Click Me"; pas 6 6;pcenter; rem form end; set cb 1; ) In practice, it is easiest to put the additional wd settings in the form_run verb. A related issue is that the J5 form editor was not very good. It was a rewrite in J, of the earlier C++ editor in J4, and never worked as smoothly as it should. As a result, I often manually edited a form, rather than use the form editor. The new gl2 interface in J6 has allowed us to rewrite the editor so it works pretty much as well as the J4 editor. This reduces the need to manually edit a form. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
