The description of jcreate (component_files.htm) says "The default
file extension is .ijf - this is used if no file extension is
given.". It looks to me as though the extension .ijf is appended even
if you supply your own: so, eg
jcreate 'c:\mydir\myfile.jdat'
will actually create myfile.jdat.ijf. Is this the desired behavior?
If so, then perhaps the description ought to be modified.
(Beta-k under ms-win, though I'm pretty sure that it's been true of
earlier betas as well).
