I just downloaded the latest Windows beta (601n) and installed it the same way I usually install J versions, in this case to c:\Program Files\J\J601. However, I got several errors while attempting to use the Edit/Configure screen. I uninstalled it and re-installed it, and got the same errors.
I was able to track this down to the use of the "Save Defaults" button. Without using this button, everything works fine. However, making changes, and then selecting "Save Defaults" seems to lose all settings, and reverts to installation defaults (which seems to be the opposite of how it worked in previous versions). Furthermore, once this is done, selecting Edit/Configure a second time produces: error in: jijs_editconfigure_button domain error: jpath fld=.SYSTEMFOLDERS ,USERFOLDERS -- Mark D.
