The beta ball had a nice holiday rest but is now rolling again.
Linux32 and Linux64 ebeta is now available at the web site.
This beta introduces the IDE readonly scripts that were available in win32
before the holidays.
This beta contains many changes in the script library and in jwdp. There are
no changes in the J Engine.
Work was done in jwdp to streamline form painting and fix many old bugs with
pas/pmove/pcenter/menu/toolbar/statusbar etc. These changes depend on some
assumptions about Linux Java form metrics.
To see if these assumptions are valid I need feedback from as many linux
users as possible.
After the install of the linux ebeta, please do the following:
load '~system/extras/util/javametrics.ijs'
jma '' NB. shows a small form
jma '' NB. report 3 by 6 matrix
.................
.................
.................
Please report to me (directly to my email preferred so as to not clutter
beta, but back to beta is ok if it is more convenient) the jma output.
