Re-reading the "Re: Application Delivery" threads

(where there are many options), I am thinking that a near
future version of J might use a bootstrap setup method where
only a smaller portion ~1/4 or less of current setup is
installed for basic GUI and pure engine and the rest
(system, help, tools like regex, addons) is installed
selectively using JAL Package Manager.
This approach would also make it possible to have
continuously self-upgrading system that will be able to
replace any of its part through Package Manager online
installation.
