Thanks for the more detailed report. As you suggest, the problem is yet again with interior spaces. This will be fixed for the next beta.

Subject: [Jbeta] J602gbeta_win64 - HELP Tab

I can access 'Help' in the normal way when I install on:

  c:\j64-602\

File association with htm does not appear to be the problem.

However I cannot access 'Help' after installing j64-602 on:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\j64-602\

as per the recommended installation option.

I note that in the User Manual

J
 jinstall: j602 or j64-602
 juser: j602-user or j64-user-602

where as in J64 the user folder is:

j64-602-user.

The problem would appear to be with the spaces when using 'winexec'.

I have a similar problem in using 'winexec' with 'winword' and 'excel'

  'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\winword.exe'

 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\excel.exe'

when the files to be read also have spaces in the path\filename.

but not with NOTEPAD:

  'c:\windows\notepad.exe'

Any help welcome!.

Regards

Bill Szuch
