Ric's mentioning of this demo triggered my
discovering this demo and especially the Paint Demo. I was
pleased to see how the painting works, including text, but
was unable to get either of the File|Save as.. options to
work, and neither of the Edit|copy options worked either.
All of the error messages were similar, for example:

Otoh, when I File|Save other bmp images from the
isigraph demo, all is well. Ironically, the
paint_saveasbmp_button uses the wd 'mbsave ... ' feature
that helped get around the problem I was having recently
with project manager. I cannot find what the successful
File|Save is using in isigraph.ijs or its requires, but it
looks like writebmp is used there, fwiw.
