Sounds good, although my understanding is that it is probably better to use html 4.01 strict (or 5) than xhmtl for serving web documents. The xhtml documents shouldn't be served as mime-type text/html and IE doesn't support application/xhtml+xml. http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/Overview.html#authors-using-xhtml > The beta should be viewed as a proof of concept. if the concept is > valid, > then refinements are relatively trivial. I got confused by the fact I that my server & client were the same. Bill's comment regarding server security is pretty important. > On Thu, Nov 26, 2009 at 6:26 AM, Sherlock, Ric > <[email protected]>wrote: > > > > From: Sherlock, Ric > > > > From: Eric Iverson > > > > > > > ... > > > immediate thing that sprang to mid was whether using <input > > > type="file"> to provide access to the OS file selection dialog, > would help. > > > > > > Currently if I ask for a new .ijs file, it will create ~temp/1.ijs > > > whether one already exists or not.
