Closing the browser tab for J701 does not seem to shut down J console. And in order to shut that down directly, you'd have to shift focus from the browser back to the J console, then click its close-window button. I write this as one who started with computers a long time ago -- with punched cards, then keyboard console input. Mousing was a great invention! Clicking an icon or a file menu option is just a lot easier for me than remembering a command-line command and then typing it. (With the multitude of programs I use, who knows whether a particular one requires "exit" or "quit" or something else entirely!) End rant.
