I had a quick test of the ide under Linux and found no serious problem. The single error message I saw (displayed by J) was related to a button event while I had two instances of project life|main; I did not further analyse that error.
A suggestion: In a standard MS-Win command-line window and in a Linux or MacBSD Term, the up-arrow key displays previously entered lines. Would not a similar behaviour be desirable for the J Term window (instead of moving the cursor)? Everytime I move the cursor up, it is to reach a previously entered line, not you? Great initiative and great work, Chris! Let's hope that gtk will give us all the features we need and that we can learn it at a rapid pace. Could the developer share some of his experience on those? ~ Gilles ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
