Thanks Bill,
As far as I know I've successfully built the latest gui/gtk scripts and the
gui/gtk/demos on the trunk. Some of the demos sort of work, but there are often
callback errors when I run them.
Error messages keep popping up and I close them only to have one reappear when
I click on the Term window.

== Example Steps ==
Start new J7 GtkIDE session.
  load 'gui/gtk/demo/tut3'
  NB. A dialog titled "callback" pops up with contents "xxx qpointer 62"
  I "cross" it and am left with the Tutorial dialog "Hello Buttons!" (three
buttons including quit).
  Pressing the first 2 buttons seems to work as intended (smoutput in Term).
  When I click the "quit" button the dialog disappears.
  Now when I click on the Term window a dialog titled "callback" pops up with
contents:
   xxx signal: button2_click_m3_

|length error: button2_click_m3_
|   'widget data'    =.y

  Every time I dismiss the dialog another one pops up.
