Does this mean downloading a new j701abeta.... file from http://jsoftware.com/beta.htm? If so, it wouldn't hurt to say so -- and it would greatly help if each and every new version of the beta didn't have exactly the same name, and if each and every version had a release date right on the download page.
If not, how upgrade JHS itself? P.S. When I tried to reply directly to the list e-mail with this response, the entire original message was truncated after Message 1, so I could not include Eric's original message as quoted (but had to copy & paste from the original). This has happened before. E-mail client is Thunderbird under Windows XP, but I don't know whether it's the client or something peculiar about the format of the original list message. (I don't have this trouble with long, even multi-person, messages in other mailing lists, e.g., mathgroup.) After installing an update like JHS you need to shutdown and restart the JHS server to run the new code. -- Murray Eisenberg [email protected] Mathematics & Statistics Dept.
