I'm still a little in the dark about AJAX. Their tutorial doesn't (for obvious reasons) let you try things. I started looking at the J7 scripts, but they are quite large and it's a little hard to figure out what is going on. Looks like lots of tweaks to take care of many peculiarities of various browsers. Hard to see the overall picture.
