I prefer this keyboard shortcut scheme to the previous one. Once I started editing .ijs files using keyboard shortcut keys, the last scheme became irritating. Only left-Ctrl+. seems to work on my keyboard/OS. Right-Ctrl+. doesn't seem to do anything on either Firefox or IE8. My vote is for the menu bar to float at the top of the window. Once the session/file gets long is a pain to have to navigate to the top and not all menu options have shortcuts (I sympathize with the problem of supporting all browsers!). The action|replace option for the script editing window looks promising, but currently results in the following error: ev_repldo_click failed: ReferenceError: reply is not defined In Firefox (but not IE8) the contentEditable runs spellcheck in the jijx and jijs windows (except when the jijs window is set to be readonly). This results in lots of variable names underlined with red-squiggles. I can right click on the page and un-click the "Check Spelling" option to make them go away, but it would be nice if that wasn't necessary. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
