Regarding the ctrl+v discussion: First this may be related to my brief message earlier regarding a spelling-error error I received using the JUM/JHS online at this link.

Below I am pasting in my session trying to follow Raul's suggestion regarding a.i.'' . Some of my experiments enclosed that phrase in quotes and some not. For all of my experiments, except the first experiment, I typed an NB. message before doing the experiment.
