If you have the ijx and ijs open in their own tabs then it is as simple and
direct as clicking the tab (and most browsers have keyboard shortcuts for
guickly getting to tab. You can also open the ijs window in a different form
and then you can see both at the same time on larger screens. I believe in
chrome you can tear of a tab to be in a new form.

For example in chrome:
In an ijx tab open a new temp ijs in a new tab by holding down ctrl+shift
and clicking menu linke|ijs.
Select tabs to move between ijx and ijs. Or grab the ijs tab and drag it to
your desktop to have it in a new form.
