Yes, I can confirm that demo9 works in Firefox on Mac OSX 10.4.x.

Even better news for me came from poking around the following link(s).
http://www.mozilla.org/access/qa/win-webcontent-kbnav.html

which sent me to the following link.

http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_frame_cols

The good news is that using F6 (forward navigation) and Shift+F6
(backward) selects frames. Actually afaik in this context the
(default?) first "frame" is the whole window and the default last
"frame" is the url address field and F6 progresses from the first to
the last, while Shift+F6 progresses backwards. Ideally the currently
selected "frame" is outlined with a marquee box and where appropriate
the cursor blinks only in the selected frame. But I can not
consistently see the marquee box in demo9 and in demo9 the initial
position of the marquee box is in the jfile/jijs frame (the upper
right frame). I cannot tell if that positioning is dependent on the
underlying html code because I cannot see demo9.ijs .

(At times the processing of (Shift+)F6 was quite slow on my machine,
but that may be because I have so many Tabs and Windows open just
now.)

Anyhow, I am very optimistic about this frame demo9 as a way to use JHS.

Thanks,
