Using the jhs packman gui, I just updated from 1.0.33 to .41 and
cannot enter J sentence anymore in the brower's ijx window. Well,
I can enter sentences but the final "enter" just inserts the linefeed.
The sentence is not sent to the server.
With .33 this was just half-broken and there was a crude work around:
(1) Enter sentence, close with return. This will advance to the
next line but not cause any action yet.
(2) Hit backspace. This will nuke the linefeed and bring the cursor
back to the end of the preceding line, i.e. the end of the J sentence.
(3) Hit enter once more. Now execution ensues. The result is displayed,
and you can continue at step (1) for the next expression.
Browser is Opera under OSX. Giving Safari a try, it doesn't fail
that silent. Every Enter elicits an error box with the diagnostic
ev_log_enter failed: TypeError - Value undefined
(result of expression sel.getRangeAt) is not object.
I updated "base" along with jhs. It is now at 7.1.7. I can't do
any further updates because that update trashed my fixed "curl"
invocation again with that one I had already complained about.
(Using an "retry" option which is not supported on all OSX versions
and which doesn't make much sense anyway.)
