Chris says in: "Note: it is not known whether there is any difference between these two versions of gtk when running on 10.6."
With the limited tests I've done on 10.6.5 (confined to the J code-development task) I can't see any difference in function between my version and: "gtk-j7-leopard-rt-20101213.zip" offered for 10.5. I notice the leopard version contains a few more folders in: /share. They look plausible ones to support specialist features, and their choice shows better knowledge of the product. But the leopard's /bin is a lot smaller than mine. (I didn't attempt to prune /bin.) My guess is we'll only need one /gtk download.
