I am working now on an USB2 2"5 external disk on an netbook Acer AA1 AOA150 system is linux mint LMDE debian edition jer...@iomega-lmde ~ $ uname -a Linux IOMEGA-LMDE 2.6.32-5-686 #1 SMP Fri Dec 10 16:12:40 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux this disk & 4 others & 2 usb keys 8 Go has worked fine on several PC intel or amd I don't need a computer, I connect my disk, select it in the BIOS and I retreive my environnement on an other PC for 60€ so 80$ after some bind tries (1 hour) GTK+ works, I have to retry to be sure of the howto it's possible to make an image of the patition partimage ext3 3 Go and to clone it on another disk, like the running disk is for J and APL, I am just a small user ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For information about J forums see http://www.jsoftware.com/forums.htm
