BTW - it's not worth you spending too much time on this other than the verification you already gave me that it appears to work for you. I have so much accreted customization at startup that I'm continually stepping on my own feet with a new version like this. For instance, the error message mentioned below (usually) stopped appearing after I added my own startup file to config/startup.ijs.
I need to re-vamp my customizations to conform to some of the more standard J conventions - I've already noted at least one of these in my write-up of my experiences moving from J6 to J7: http://www.jsoftware.com/jwiki/NYCJUG/2010-12-14#MovingfromJ6toJ7.2BIBMMyExperience. However, it makes sense to keep a record of teething pains like this as others may encounter similar problems and, at some point, I'll probably figure out what I'm doing wrong to break the new version. Is there any sort of publicly-accessible error log where we could note these issues and their resolutions?
