I just upgraded to the latest nightly. The new version did not complete
starting up for several minutes so I stopped it.

By this time it already enlarged my slimserver.conf file from its usual
7k to more than 1000k.

It looks like the problem is with the RSS feeds. The conf file contains
3160 entries like this:

I interupted it creating thousands of these:
MMSport: 2962 =

The system messages file gets filled up by this:
--- quote ---
Aug 12 19:43:48 fserver runuser: Use of uninitialized value in
concatenation (.) or string at /usr/local/sl
Aug 12 19:43:48 fserver runuser: imserver//Slim/Utils/Prefs.pm line
729.
Aug 12 19:43:48 fserver runuser: Use of uninitialized value in
concatenation (.) or string at
/usr/local/slimserver//Slim/Utils/Prefs.pm line 729.
Aug 12 19:43:48 fserver last message repeated 16 times
--- end quote ---

Is there any cure for this behaviour?
