I need to fix the path issue for different platforms. In the meantime changing the relative path to an absolute path resolved the problem on my WinXP installation. my $relPathToConfigFiles = "c:/Program Files/SlimServer/server/Plugins/IRBlastTest/"; The problem you mentioned about only 'slim' showing up might be related to the never ending story about different line-endings on different platforms. I realized that the slim.conf file is in DOS-style whereas the others are saved in UNIX-style. However on my installation all .conf files showed up. And no, you don't need any player connected to SlimServer. The selections should show up anyway.
