IE and Opera are working for me with with 4144 (9/1 nightly). I too have experienced the same, or similar problems, many times when changing skins (in fact, just two days ago with the 8/25 nightly). I do not believe the cache and document expiration is correct in the code for the various frames and elements. In the past, I've cleared IEs cache including offline content, removed the slim cookies, removed slim's Cache folder to no resolution. Somes the problems just seemt to fix themselves in a short amount of time (document expiration?). It doesn't seem to be tied directly to the 10 second auto-update. Other times, playlists show up as a list of text URLs and not rendered pages. Only clearly the playlist solves this problem.
I typically use Opera, but I test problems on IE and Firefox as well. The problems frequently go away when I switch broswers, but not always. Kdf and I discussed such problems back when he made changes to the Fishbone skin. The problems do not appear to be isolated to IE - the same occurs with the 3 browsers. But it is very random.
